Welcome to our Parish Family

It is commonly understood that one of the most important aspects of being Catholic is the parish community. Why? Because the parish impacts people’s lives. It is in the parish community where we receive the Body and Blood of Christ, listen to the Word of God, find forgiveness of our sins in Reconciliation, communal support, and ways to give life to our faith.
 
The parish is a living, breathing reality where God connects with His people. We hope that this will be your experience of St. Jerome’s and that you will find warmth and hospitality here in a spiritually and emotionally nourishing environment.  

As you become more acquainted with us, we hope that you will find an area in which to share time and talent with our parish family. Like any family, we function most efficiently when all our members involve themselves in parish life.

Financial Stewardship

“Doesn’t the Church have Lots of Money?” - This is a common statement made by many people - but a very common misconception!  The needs of each parish church - both maintaining the physical property - and the spiritual needs of all parishioners is supported by the generosity of parishioners. 
 
Each one of us has been bestowed with many gifts from the Lord: the gifts of our unique talents, the gifts of our time here on earth and material gifts, as well. We are called to be good stewards of these gifts – to use them to help build up His Kingdom on Earth and to provide for others who are less fortunate.
 
As Christian stewards, we are asked to use our time and talents to advance the ministry of the Church and to donate a portion of our treasure for the Lord’s work. We all are invited to support our St. Jerome Parish family. There are different ways to donate: You can support the parish by using Sunday Offering Envelopes, our Pre-Authorized Debit Plan, or online through our website.  Your financial contribution assists the parish in its work and mission in the community. Your kind financial assistance to the parish is greatly appreciated.
