Introducing the Parish Leadership Team

September 13, 2017I’m excited to announce that a Parish Leadership Team (PLT) has been established in the parish to help in the fulfillment of both our mission and covenant statements.
Every pastor needs a team, a special group of leaders who are collectively committed to helping him make the parish awesome and bring more people to Christ and his Church.
The scope of the PLT is directed toward helping the Pastor in pastoral matters within the parish. These include things that pertain to the Sunday experience, spiritual growth, education, outreach, and being a good steward of parish resources.
Members of the PLT are assigned to be a liaison, a person who establishes and maintains communication for mutual understanding and cooperation, to these different pastoral areas.
The members of the PLT are appointed by the Pastor and serve a three-year term. I am happy to welcome:
- Linda Benedek: PLT chairperson;
- Judy Ritza: Liturgy;
- David Grady: Spiritual Growth/Formation;
- Patti Cook: Education & Sacraments;
- Pauline Wilson: Parish Building & Community Outreach;
- Jocelyn Ouellet: Administration & Fundraising.
I am thankful these people have accepted to serve in the important role within our parish and I am excited to work with them. Please keep these people in your prayers as they share their charisms with our community.
