Humanitarian Assistance to Haiti

October 21, 2016In order to help victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops is collaborating with Development & Peace to ensure immediate assistance to our brothers and sisters.
Two options for donating:
1) Online at www.devp.org. Official tax-receipts will be issued immediately by email.
2) Through a special collection that will take place in all Catholic parishes in the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie on the weekend of October 29/30. You are asked to use your envelope for the "Bishops Annual Appeal" dated November 27 in your box of envelopes. The total amount of this collection will be forwarded to Development & Peace. Please make cheques payable to Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie/Haiti Emergency.
