February 20, 2019The Lenten retreat will be taking place on March 1st, 2019 at 7:00pm to March 3rd, 2019 at 1:00pm. The director will be Fr. Wim Dombret SJ. The retreat is entitled "Who Is This Man" and spends time analyzing and learning from Luke 14, 16-24: The Parable of the Great Feast:
In this parable we hear about "a certain man" who gave a great feast. As we get closer to Easter, we want to know more about him. Who is this man? What kind of feast is he offering? How do I feel invited? What is my reaction? During this retreat. through presentation, silence and personal prayer, we will explore and grow our inner knowledge of the Lord (Sp. Ex. #104). Personal direction will be available.
The Summer retreat will be taking place August 12th, 2019 to August 17th, 2019. The retreat is entitled "Discovering Our Prayerful Balance: Remaining Socially and Pastorally Engaged... with Contemplative Awareness". The director will be Fr. Trevor Scott SJ.
Both retreats will be held at Villa Loyola de Sudbury at 4951 Long Lake Rd Sudbury ON P3G 1K9.
